  Synopsis: Is a good waterfront camp site in the midst of a city. Close to the centre without the fuss of driving hours to camp in bushland.

  View is great, tents are comfy, bathrooms are clean BUT, there are simply too many rules around alcohol, noise etc. Security is not friendly either.

  Decor: It is a good quality ‘Safari Style’ tent (Diamantina) with 2 comfortable single beds. If you’re over 6ft, you’re probably going to be in trouble length wise though...

  I loved this, pretty much a quintessential Sydney experience, and the hosts try hard, too. Some find it a bit noisy in the middle of a busy harbour, but I liked it a lot.

  All its got going for it is the location. So much more could be done in terms of managing it. The historical buildings are not properly opened up to the public and just look like abandoned warehouses. Seagulls have infested the area and if you happen to camp near their nesting area, you better be a heavy sleeper or wear earplugs. Managed well this could be a great place, but as for now it is overpriced and there is nothing u can do here that you can't do elsewhere with better facilities and more activities and better views
